Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery from cyber attacks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network infrastructure.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error risks.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance reporting for external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Strong understanding of malware analysis and threat intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
