Role Overview:
We are looking for an engineer who not only writes clean code but understands the complexities of financial compliance and user experience. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, and ensure our platforms are robust against security threats while maintaining exceptional speed and usability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure financial architecture and microservices.
- Optimize high-volume transaction processing pipelines to ensure sub-second latency.
- Collaborate with product managers and security experts to integrate compliance standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR) into the development lifecycle.
- Lead code reviews and mentor a team of junior and mid-level engineers.
- Drive technical decision-making for cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and database optimization.
- Debug complex issues in production environments and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in FinTech or high-frequency trading environments.
- Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Java, with a strong command of modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience working with distributed databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, or API integration for financial services.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native principles and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
