Responsibilities
- Architect and Develop: Design and implement scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Node.js).
- System Optimization: Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability of existing codebases.
- API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end functionality.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews.
- Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers and product managers to define features and technical requirements.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the technical culture of the Columbus office.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Database: Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
