Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging global trends across technology, policy, and consumer behavior to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Author visionary thought leadership and present to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype future-concept validation experiments
- Monitor horizon scanning metrics and maintain competitive intelligence database
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record developing scenario planning frameworks for tech companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills using tools like Tableau
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience with Delphi methods and horizon scanning methodologies
