Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, climate tech, and societal shifts
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future intelligence into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Lead innovation workshops and publish thought leadership on emerging paradigms
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable business recommendations
- Monitor geopolitical and technological disruptors affecting long-term viability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published author or keynote speaker on future trends
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofing initiatives
