Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams to prototype future-ready solutions
- Author high-impact scenario reports for C-suite stakeholders, translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor junior futurists while building the company's proprietary foresight methodologies
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums including Davos and TED Futures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, innovation strategy, or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative/qualitative discipline
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (provide portfolio samples)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in foresight tools including Delphi methods, causal layered analysis, and AI-powered trend forecasting
- Track record of translating future visions into commercialized products or policies
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
