- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic concepts (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech)
- Establish foresight frameworks to de-risk R&D investments and capture first-mover advantages
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into commercial roadmaps
- Maintain competitive intelligence network tracking 200+ emerging tech startups and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or corporate innovation roles with proven 2026+ trend impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique, weak signal analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovation strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and digital transformation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
