Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual technology horizon reports for 2026-2030
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership teams
- Identify and validate emerging tech disruptions through patent analysis and academic research
- Design innovation frameworks for AI ethics, climate tech, and human augmentation
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and board meetings
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of technology scouts
- Quantify market opportunities for frontier technologies using predictive modeling
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published author in technology forecasting or future studies (IEEE, MIT Press)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, climate AI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom AI models)
- Proven track record influencing C-suite strategy decisions
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, Delphi method)
- Portfolio of 3+ industry-defining innovation roadmaps
