Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year impact windows
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for global market evolution
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 12 R&D initiatives
- Present future-state visions to Fortune 100 clients and board members
- Build and lead a 15-person futurist think tank with global reach
- Publish annual 'State of 2026' industry forecast reports
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or innovation journals
- Experience with UN Global Futures Council or equivalent global forums
- Advanced certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS)
- Fluency in English with multilingual capabilities preferred
