Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026-2030 technology foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions for human-machine symbiosis
- Produce strategic white papers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize R&D investments based on future market viability
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation scouting network
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech (peer-reviewed journals or industry publications)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend impact assessment
- Proven experience translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech) implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
