Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, scientific breakthroughs, and cultural shifts to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen products and services
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive leadership and investors with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate future-ready solutions
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical analysis techniques
- Publish thought leadership content on emerging technologies and their societal implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate trends into cohesive narratives
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Outstanding presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist work with measurable business impact
