Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Manage cross-functional projects integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology trends
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with measurable impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-focused initiatives
