Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ horizon, identifying disruptive trends and opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to prepare organizations for technological and societal shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into business models
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on industry evolution and market transformation
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar body)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping projects
