Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends through horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead stakeholder workshops to translate future visions into actionable business strategies
- Produce trend reports and innovation briefs for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with foresight methodologies like Delphi or STEEP analysis
