Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+, identifying disruptive technologies, market trends, and societal transformations
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to build adaptive business strategies
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future insights into actionable roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and presentations for board-level stakeholders
- Champion innovation culture through internal training and cross-functional futurist initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and technological breakthroughs affecting 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Futures School or similar institution)
