Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping 2026 technology convergence points (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Direct cross-functional R&D sprints with quantum computing and neuromorphic engineering teams
- Present future-vision blueprints to C-suite and government innovation councils
- Author thought leadership publications in top-tier tech journals
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with 5+ year lead times
- Expertise in quantum computing architectures and neuro-symbolic AI integration
- Published author in Nature/Science with 10+ peer-reviewed papers
- Security clearance (Top Secret) or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency in futures simulation tools (STELLA, AnyLogic, custom Python frameworks)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
