Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on emerging technology adoption pathways
- Produce executive-ready reports on disruptive forces (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their market implications
- Design prototyping initiatives for future-facing products and services targeting 2026 launch windows
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking long-term strategic initiatives
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven expertise in developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership on emerging technology disruption
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing stakeholder ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
