Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, social, and economic implications of future innovations
- Produce high-impact strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technology paradigms
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future-vision concepts into actionable R&D roadmaps
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry conferences to establish thought leadership
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a future-oriented culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 10+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing strategic innovation budgets
