Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, bioengineering) to map 5-7 year strategic pathways
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future-state roadmaps with engineering and product teams
- Develop predictive scenario models using proprietary foresight frameworks and AI-driven analytics
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content (reports, keynotes, podcasts) for industry stakeholders
- Advise executive leadership on disruptive threats and opportunities in global markets
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in systems thinking, complex adaptive systems, and technological forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend analysis (e.g., GPT-4, predictive modeling platforms)
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Planning preferred
