As a thought leader in our innovation division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives and research labs to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies. Your work will directly influence multi-billion-dollar investments and next-generation product launches.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Produce high-impact strategic briefs for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS certification) preferred
- Fluency in futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
