Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prioritize innovation initiatives targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof technologies into core offerings
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and scenario analyses for stakeholder decision-making
- Represent the company at global tech forums and build strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation metrics aligned with business objectives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology consulting or corporate innovation with proven futurist methodologies
- Advanced degree in technology, futurism, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend forecasting frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (articles, books, white papers)
- Experience advising C-level executives on long-term technology strategy
