Your work will directly shape product roadmaps, investment portfolios, and corporate positioning in the rapidly evolving tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive market forces and competitive landscapes
- Manage relationships with venture capital partners and academic research institutions for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Architect technology adoption roadmaps for enterprise clients and internal product teams
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists through structured development programs
- Present findings to C-level executives and Board of Directors with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi technique, STEEP analysis)
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite audiences and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry publications
