Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps and adoption forecasts for key industry verticals
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for executive teams and Fortune 500 partners
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on future tech paradigms
- Build strategic partnerships with academic research labs and innovation accelerators
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging technologies through scenario modeling
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental KPIs for innovation maturity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on AI governance, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: Web3, AGI, or neurotech
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
