Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies through 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for disruptive technological shifts
- Mentor cross-functional teams in innovation methodologies and future-thinking frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future technologies into development pipelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, Quantum Computing, Biotech, or Sustainable Tech
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience publishing industry research and presenting to executive audiences
- Deep understanding of socio-technological trends and their business implications
