Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 15% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain production documentation and SOPs
- Collaborate with R&D on prototype development and testing
- Ensure compliance with FAA and AS9100 quality standards
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering required
- 5+ years aerospace manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CNC machining and composite materials
- Excellent project management abilities
