Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Translate complex physics models into executable quantum circuits using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and hardware engineers to improve error correction and coherence times.
- Implement quantum encryption protocols and secure communication standards.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum software stacks on cloud simulators and real hardware.
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing projects and establish thought leadership within the community.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on quantum computing or advanced simulation.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust.
- Familiarity with quantum computing libraries such as Qiskit, PennyLane, or Forest.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
