The Role
In this pivotal role, you will own the SEO roadmap, collaborating closely with engineering, content, and design teams to improve site performance, crawlability, and user engagement metrics. You will analyze complex data sets to uncover opportunities and implement technical solutions that deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Technical Mastery: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement fixes to improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and core web vitals.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute long-term SEO strategies that align with business goals and drive organic traffic growth.
- Keyword & Content Optimization: Lead keyword research and strategy, ensuring content is optimized for relevance and search intent.
- Link Building: Manage and oversee a high-quality link building campaign to boost domain authority and referral traffic.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with web developers to implement schema markup, canonical tags, and other technical optimizations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in SEO, including a strong background in technical SEO.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML/CSS basics, Google Search Console, and tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
- Data Analysis: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Tools: Strong command of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
