- Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize content accordingly.
- Performance Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console to measure success and adjust strategies.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with content creators to ensure all digital assets are optimized for user intent and search engines.
- Link Building: Execute ethical link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority and referral traffic.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor movements in the Washington DC market to stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong preference for candidates based in or willing to work in the Washington DC area.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how they impact SEO performance.
- Tool Mastery: Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
