Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Architect, design, and implement scalable web and mobile applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python).
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure quality and best practices, while mentoring junior engineers to foster their professional growth.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and optimize application performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Technical Strategy: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that keep Nexus Horizon ahead of the curve.
- CI/CD Implementation: Enhance and maintain our continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and security.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
