Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture on AWS/Azure
- Lead API development with REST/GraphQL best practices
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams on technical roadmap planning
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java/Python with cloud-native patterns
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems principles
- Agile/Scrum methodology certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
