Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct code reviews to ensure high standards.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex issues and implement robust solutions to optimize application performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver feature-rich products.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making processes.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in the full CI/CD pipeline, ensuring thorough testing before deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js; experience with React or Angular is highly desired.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our Houston, TX office for team collaboration.
