Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime across AWS/Azure environments
- Lead security-first design for PCI-compliant payment systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Present quarterly technical deep-dives to C-suite stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development with Go/Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Professional AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proven track record leading CI/CD transformations
- Strong background in building high-throughput APIs (REST/gRPC)
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
