Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Python, and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead technical planning and implementation of new product features with 10M+ user impact
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize system performance, reducing latency by 30% and improving reliability
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on aggressive timelines
- Drive innovation through prototyping and POCs for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Python
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3) and cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
- Proven track record of optimizing high-traffic applications with 99.9% uptime
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and containerization
