Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and cloud-native architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.99% uptime for financial APIs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools
- Lead architectural decisions for new payment processing modules

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Proven track record of architecting high-throughput systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Certification in AWS or cloud architecture preferred
