Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, Docker, and AWS DevOps tools
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance tuning and scalability improvements for high-traffic applications
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR)
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and participate in agile ceremonies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring ecosystem
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of designing high-availability systems at scale
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Strong analytical skills with experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems
- Excellent communication abilities with cross-functional teams
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, or Scrum) preferred
