Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance for 10K+ TPS financial transactions
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Partner with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 50+ enterprises
Qualifications
- 8+ years of backend development in Python/Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Production experience with Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL
- Cloud certification (AWS/GCP) or equivalent hands-on expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system design
- BS/MS in Computer Science from accredited institution
- Strong problem-solving skills with LeetCode top 10% ranking
