Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and architectural planning
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering org
- Conduct performance tuning and security audits for production systems
- Present technical roadmaps to C-level stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python preferred)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Strong background in event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
