Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime for mission-critical applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging across full development lifecycle
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation labs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Ability to obtain federal government clearance if required
