Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust, high-availability microservices capable of handling massive concurrent traffic during global events.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Lead the migration and optimization of applications on AWS/Azure, ensuring compliance and cost-efficiency.
- Real-Time Data Processing: Develop solutions for live scoring, ticketing, and fan engagement platforms with sub-second latency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and stadium operations teams to translate technical requirements into actionable development plans.
- Security & Compliance: Implement enterprise-grade security protocols to protect sensitive user data and intellectual property.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards across the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java; deep expertise in AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing complex distributed systems and handling database sharding and caching strategies.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
