Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices, performance optimization, and security standards are met.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance system reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and user stories.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and provide technical mentorship to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Testing: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software stability and functionality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Python. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly desirable.
- Database: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site or hybrid in the Las Vegas, NV area.
