Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance systems for the 2026 Protocol, ensuring resilience and fault tolerance at scale.
- Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers, providing technical mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, translating business requirements into concrete architectural solutions.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and AI researchers to integrate advanced machine learning models into core infrastructure.
- Establish best practices for code quality, security, and deployment, implementing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical code reviews to ensure engineering excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Python, Java, or Go, and familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven track record of leading complex, mission-critical projects from conception to deployment.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
