Responsibilities
- End-to-End Sourcing: Execute full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, including Software Engineering, Data Science, and DevOps.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Utilize advanced Boolean search strategies and social networking (LinkedIn, GitHub) to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct comprehensive phone screens and technical interviews to assess candidate skills, cultural fit, and salary expectations.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the entire applicant tracking system (ATS) pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining accurate data.
- Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create compelling job descriptions, and set clear success metrics.
- Employer Branding: Promote our employer brand within the New Orleans tech community through networking events and job fairs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in technical recruiting or human resources.
- Tech Stack Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development life cycles and technical terminology (Java, Python, AWS, etc.).
- ATS Proficiency: Proven experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate offers effectively.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requisitions, and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
