Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Technical Audits: Perform in-depth site audits to identify crawl errors, indexability issues, and on-page optimization opportunities.
- Optimize Site Architecture & Crawl Budget: Design and implement scalable site structures that maximize Googlebot access and indexation efficiency.
- Core Web Vitals & Performance: Lead initiatives to improve page load speeds, interactivity, and visual stability to enhance user experience and search rankings.
- Structured Data & Schema Markup: Implement and maintain advanced Schema.org markup to improve rich snippet visibility and search result appearance.
- Collaborate with Engineering: Partner with frontend and backend developers to resolve technical roadblocks, implement redirects, and manage server configurations (Nginx/Apache).
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyze organic traffic trends, keyword performance, and conversion data to refine strategies and report on ROI to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic rankings for large-scale websites.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Vue, Angular), and server-side rendering (SSR) vs. Client-side rendering (CSR).
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, and Ahrefs or SEMrush.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting for automation and data extraction is a strong plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and present solutions clearly to non-technical teams.
