Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and technical architecture. You will work closely with development teams to implement SEO best practices and drive organic traffic growth for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement schema markup, XML sitemaps, and canonical tags.
- Monitor search engine algorithms and competitor strategies to adjust tactics accordingly.
- Optimize site architecture and internal linking structures for better crawlability and user experience.
- Analyze web analytics data (Google Analytics, Search Console) to report on SEO performance and ROI.
- Lead local SEO initiatives to boost visibility for geo-targeted search terms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical SEO, preferably in a digital agency or e-commerce environment.
- Deep knowledge of Google Search Central guidelines and best practices.
- Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical analysis.
