Responsibilities
- Smart Contract Architecture: Design, develop, and audit secure smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, and Vyper on Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions.
- Protocol Development: Spearhead the development of decentralized protocols, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Frontend Integration: Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js) and build intuitive DApp interfaces.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize gas usage and transaction throughput for high-volume decentralized applications.
- Security Audits: Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement best practices to prevent vulnerabilities and exploits.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions for the protocol.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years specifically in Web3, Blockchain, or Cryptography.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, Go, or TypeScript. Experience with frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry.
- Protocols: Deep understanding of blockchain mechanics, consensus algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Security: Strong knowledge of smart contract security best practices, known attack vectors, and formal verification methods.
- Tools: Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
