Responsibilities
- Protocol Development: Design, implement, and maintain core smart contracts and blockchain protocols using Rust and Solidity.
- Security Auditing: Conduct rigorous security reviews and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in Web3 applications.
- System Architecture: Architect high-performance Layer 2 solutions and interoperability bridges that reduce gas fees and improve user experience.
- Open Source Contribution: Drive community engagement by contributing to major blockchain frameworks and publishing technical research papers.
- Mentorship: Lead a team of junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize node performance and consensus mechanisms to handle high transaction volumes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in Web3, Blockchain, or Cryptography.
- Languages: Deep proficiency in Rust and Solidity, with experience in Go or C++ preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of cryptography principles, consensus algorithms (e.g., Proof of Stake), and distributed systems theory.
- Tools: Experience with development tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, and Git.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
