Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast their impact on business models by 2026
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption predictions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present technology vision to stakeholders including investors and industry partners
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, researchers, and thought leaders
- Drive R&D investments in next-gen computing paradigms and human-machine interfaces
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching products with 3-5 year development cycles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research on technology adoption curves or disruptive innovation
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of strategic roadmaps implemented with measurable outcomes
