Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Stock shelves and display cases with fresh products to ensure the store looks appealing and organized.
- Keep the sales floor, restrooms, and break areas clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a neat and organized register area.
- Assist with basic food preparation or restocking tasks as directed by the shift manager.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations and store policies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Currently enrolled in high school or a recent graduate.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
