Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans and treatment schedules across multiple departments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure seamless care delivery
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Train new staff on patient care protocols and documentation procedures
- Analyze patient data to identify opportunities for care improvement
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare coordination or patient services
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner certification a plus)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Valid Tennessee state healthcare professional license
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
