Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans across multidisciplinary teams
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Facilitate seamless communication between patients and providers
- Conduct intake assessments and maintain detailed documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with insurance specialists for billing coordination
- Support patient education and wellness initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare coordination experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
